The main objective of the National Scholarship Portal started by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is to provide all the necessary information and facilities related to various scholarship schemes to the students of economically weaker sections at one place. Through this portal, students can easily get information about various scholarship schemes launched by the Central Government as well as the State Government from this common platform. National Scholarship Portal Registration Process
Interested students will have to follow the following procedures to register in the NSP portal started by the Government of India:-
First Step- Registration
- First of all, you have to visit the official website of the NSP Portal. Now the home page of the website will open in front of you.
- After this, you have to click on the option of new registration on the homepage of the website. Now the instructions will be displayed in front of you.
- You have to read these instructions carefully and tick the checkbox given below. After that you have to click on the continue option.
- Now a new page will open on your screen. All the required information asked on this new page, such as:- Name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email id, bank details, etc. have to be entered.

After this, you have to enter the captcha code and click on the option of Register. Now your registration will be done, after that you will get your student registration ID.
Second Step- NSP Login
- First of all, you have to visit the official website of the NSP Portal. Now the home page of the website will open in front of you.
- After this, you have to click on the option of student registration on the homepage of the website. Now a new login page will open in front of you.
- On this new page you have to login through your student registration id. Now you have to click on the icon of the application form.
- Now the application form will be displayed on your screen. Now you will get all the information asked in this application form, such as:- Domicile State, Student Name, Date of Birth, Community / Category, Father’s Name, Aadhar Card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Enter the details of annual family income, email id etc.
- Now you have to click on Save and Continue option. After that you have to upload the scanned copies of the required documents.

After this, you have to click on the option of final submission, after that your application will be submitted

- First of all you have to visit the official website of “National Scholarship Portal”. After this the home page will open in front of you.
- On the homepage of the website you have to click on the link “Login“, and choose your year.
- You have to enter your “Application ID and Password” by selecting the year. After this you have to click on the option “Check your status”.

- On the homepage of the website you have to click on the link “New Registration“. After that a new

- Now on this new page you have to click on the link “Scheme wise Scholarship Approved List”. After that a new webpage will open.
- Here an application form will be displayed in front of you, in which you have to enter all the details asked, such as an academic year, application type, ministry, scheme, state and district etc.

- First of all you have to visit the official website of “National Scholarship Portal”. After this the home page will open in front of you.
- On the homepage of the website you have to click on the link “Login“. After that a new page will be displayed in front of you.
- Now “Application Form” will be displayed on your screen. In which you have to enter your “ID and Password” and fill in “Enter Captcha”.
- After entering the information you have to click on the “Login” option, and thus will be able to “Apply for Renewal”.
- First of all you have to visit the official website of “National Scholarship Portal”. After this the home page will open in front of you.
- On the homepage of the website you have to click on the link “Search for Institute/School/ITI“. After that a new page will be displayed in front of you.
- Now on this page you have to enter all the asked details like Institute State, Institute District, Institute/ College/ ITI and School/ College/ ITI Name (Optional)
