Admin Mulls To Shift Nov Session to March In All J&K Schools from This Year
The Jammu and Kashmir UT administration is considering shifting the November to March school exam session from primary to higher secondary level from this year, officials said.
They added that the School Education Department will take a final call regarding this proposal soon.
Explaining the reason behind the move, the officials said, “Despite taking their Class 10th or Class 12th exams in November, students who want to enroll in professional courses out of UT have to wait until the new academic term as those universities starts their session in July.
“Due to the November session, the precious time of students gets wasted,” said the officials.
It was further revealed that the March to March session proposal is almost through and needs a formal order only (Admin mulls to shift Nov session to March in schools from this year).
