Applications through online mode are invited from the applicants who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir possessing the prescribed Academic /Professional qualification and age for the post of Medical Officer in terms of the "Jammu & Kashmir Health & Medical Education Department (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 2013, notified vide SRO 325 dated 12.07.2013, read with amendment made vide SRO-388 dated 10.09.2018 and Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business and Procedure) Rules, 2021.

Education Qualifications :-
MBBS or Possession of recognized Graduate Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-ll of the 3rd Scheduled (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indiar Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of education qualifications included in part-ll of the 3rd Scheduled should fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
