Srinagar, Jan 12: Advertisement Notice for the post of Constable in two Border Battalions (one Bn. each in Jammu/Kashmir region).
In continuation to earlier advertisement notice issued under endorsement No. Pers-Rectt-A-105-2018/16207-50 dated 09-03-2019 for the post of Constable in two Border Battalions (one Battalion each in Jammu/Kashmir Region) and in pursuance to Government of Jammu and Kashmir Home Department letter No. Home-PNG/201/2021-01-(CC-45001) dated 17-12-2021, wherein the competent authority has approved for issuance of fresh advertisement notification excluding UT of Ladakh so as to give opportunity to eligible candidates who are domicile of Jammu and Kashmir to apply and participate in the selection process and be considered as per existing rules.

Police Recruitment Board invites online applications from eligible candidates of Domicile of UT J&K residing within the radius of 0 to 10 Kms from International Border/Line of Control/ Actual Ground Position Line/ Line of Actual Control (IB/LOC/AGPL/LAC from Border Districts of UT J&K for participation in the selection process for the post of Constable in two Border Battalions (one in Jammu Province and one in Kashmir Province) as per guidelines of MHA GOI letter No. 13030/1/2018-K.II dated 08-03-2018 in the Pay Band-I of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade pay 1900/- (Now revised 19900-63200 Level-2). The posts assigned to each province shall be equally distributed among Border Districts of Jammu/Kashmir.
The candidates who had earlier qualified PET/PST for the post of Constable in two Border Battalions in response to PHQ Advertisement Notice issued under endorsement No. Pers-Rectt-A-105-2018/16207-50 dated 09-03-2019 and qualified PET/PST need not to apply again as they are eligible for the written examination. Similarly the candidates who were disqualified in PET/PST under the above quoted advertisement can not apply again as their applications would not be considered.
