Five drug peddlers arrested by Kokernag Police, 05 Kgs of Charas recovered
Kokernag 8 April (Ktv Urdu Kashmir) :- in yet another breakthrough on its continuing efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Kokernag Police today arrested 05 notorious drug peddlers and recovered 05 Kgs of Charas from their possession.

All the Five persons was arrested by a team of Police Station Kokernag led by SDPO Mansoor Ayaz who had received a Specific Inputs. Acting upon the information During the checking, Police team apprehended 05 person’s at Sonbrari area of Magam Kokernag
01. Mohd Rafiq Bhat S/O Mohd Jamal Bhat
02. Mubeena Banoo W/O Mohd Rafiq Bhat
03. Anayat ullah Bhat S/O Mohd Rafiq Bhat
04.Ajaz Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Hassan Bhat residents of Soafshali
05. Sajad Ahmad Ganie S/O Gull Mohd R/O Hangulgund
recovered 05 Kgs of Charas (in form of balls) from possession.
Taking cognisance of the matter, Police has registered a case FIR No.63/2022 under section 8/20 NDPS Act in PS Kokernag against the peddlers.
Kokernag Police appeals the general public to cooperate in sharing the information related to drug abuse so that appropriate steps can be initiated and a drug free environment is created Ktv Urdu Kashmir.
